This benefits our service users, their families and carers and our staff.
We have a secondment opportunity available for a Senior Social Worker to work closely with the Homelessness Prevention Service Team. The role will require you to work across organisations in. You will also visit Harbour Place and may need to alter some of your working hours to visit homeless people in the community. This is an exciting new venture which will place a social worker at the heart of the homeless team. You will be expected to advise and support all professionals. You will work with homeless people and their families and try to stop homelessness occurring. You will engage with the hospital to help them identify homeless people themselves and advise your colleagues in Focus of your actions and methods of working. This will be a temporary post for 2 years for which supervisory and mentoring support will be provided (at Focus).
